Yeah, Discom - Van Gogh was a bit discombobulated at times too!
Glad you liked it!

for another one sometime...

Thanks very much, Saul - I had a lot of time on my hands yesterday!!
I guess that gave me the chance to make it one of the better ones. Happy Easter...

Many thanks, Wiley - and I don't know Hank Snow, so that's equal!
I've heard of him. I know a few of those old American singers - like Jimmie Rodgers for example. I expect Hank Snow was Canadian, though, was he? He should be with that name.

Mary - My daughter's been there, but not me - apart from in my imagination!
Thanks a lot!! Happy Easter!

"Van Gogh’s ears / Fall like the swirling stars." Yup, it's official, that's one of my favorite bits you've written.  Maybe it's because Van Gogh is my favorite artist?

Oh, it's the whole art parade!!!!

Wowie, I'm impressed as heck 'cuz I don't really run in those circles at all but no matter.  I have been to Vienna I think but was heavy drinker back then so didn't study the arts. I don't think Hank Snow played with those fella's either. Love your sonnets old palHappy Easter

This one is absolutely fabulous!!! How do you do it – slightly whimsical yet wistful and fragrant.

Hello Najwa and thanks.
Yes, i bet you love much music and art, too. Taghoor is not someone I know. I've heard of Tagore, the Indian poet.

If I was American, Moon, I could rhyme it like this-

Ears of Van Gogh  / fall like the snow

But as I'm British, it's rather hard to rhyme it with anything. We pronounce it with a sort of 'ochhh' sound. Och aye.

and the music lives for ever through every sigh
when the sky will open her doors and cry
When the sun will be the book of the history
None could understand the ARTS mystery
But TAGHOOR music lived in my soul
And his words were the blossom to the all
i love your poem and it is unique
what i wrote gift for you .

Thanks Rae - you just can't help but think of a wintry night, with lights
blazing from some palatial theatre and fur-clad ladies and their husbands clambering out of carriages onto the snowy ground, the Alps in the distance, their snowy caps visible in the moonlight, etc etc...

flair, and German genius, and all else to satiate the appeties of the most avid connoiseurs.
