Thank you, Lovely Lady
Sometimes women need to self-indulge and they need to be reminded that it's ok.

So true, OTA. So may problems caused by low self esteem and weak to none
self respect. Loving and healing yourself is a gift to others also. I thank you for the thoughtful, positive comment.

This is such an important post.. how can we truly love anyone else if we dont love ourselves? When I see harsh judgements .. cruelty to others I often think of this.. does that person even love them selves? Do they have any concept of loving themselves? I am as guilty as anyone of not taking care of my own needs in that department. You have inspired me today .. again!!!

Moments of self appreciation and self forgiveness are so important. We don’t give ourselves that gift often enough. Wonderful prose.

Happy to hear, Mary
Yes, definitely good to treat yourself kindly. I've been raw and reeling from many stresses lately and I've sensed the wisdom/necessity of "Heal thyself." Not that I'm advocating becoming a self absorbed loner or island unto oneself, but knowing when and how to depend on your own strength and rightness is invaluable.
Thank you for sharing.

So apt. I've dieted for so long that I actually splurged tonight while out for dinner with my two girls and had pasta! I had a little ceasar salad before so I couldn't eat much of the pasta, but it was so good. Yes, sometimes, we just have to splurge. Thanks for the reminder that's it's OKAY. I'm smiling. --Joy!Mary
