I remember reading this poem some time ago - it was wonderful then and it was wonderful again today. Thank you for sharing it with us. When you described yourself, by the way, I felt as though I was looking in the mirror. Lately, however, I have come to understand that the "stiff upper lip" and "gracious smile" isn't necessarily the most healthy approach. And you know what? When you're feeling frightened or fragile and actually admit it to the people you love - they love you just the same!

Thank you! Out of all the times I've seen that poem, it never had the author name attached to it. Glad to finally see the credit. Yes, we are never alone in that sense. Surely. --Joy!Mary
