Well, Justi,
When it comes to evolution, I guess we just have to agree to disagree...

This is such folly. I have to equate it to a woman going into minute detail in explaining every fiber of feeling a man experiences in a male orgasm. Bull crap! Evolution is less reasonable than corn growing on a butter bean bush and your shelling succotash.

Good Morning Offy,

I wonder how Robert Burns might have worded his To A Louse if he had seen one o' the crowlin ferlies on the pubic area of a gorilla instead of a ladies bonnet.

I understand that Michael Moore (of Fahrenheit 911) fame, is married to a woman - so there's a blatant example of a woman, sanctioned by law, (presumably) having sex with an ape!

it'll be a while yet. The sun still has another 6 billion years or so to go...And what doggie are we talking about? The Bichon Frise? The animal that will help the survival of fleas until the day the sun turns into a red giant and takes care even of the fleas?

This is the posterity we have to look forward to as a species?  Blech.  I'd rather talk about that cute doggie!  --Joy!Mary

there are different theories about the transmission of the HIV virus to humans; it's probably of simian origin, and the most likely transmission being described by the 'hunter theory', i.e. chimps being hunted and eaten. But that was a very recent event. The lice we got a little earlier...

We haven't found any Martians yet, and we're not likely to find any. In any case, we seem to have enough problems with our own species.

But talking about fleas - they're highly successful! After all, they were around during the age of the dinosaurs, and they will probably outlive us as well...

education has been going to the dogs for a long tie now, at least we're moving up in the evolutionary scale...And where do I get this? Well, I read a lot...

coming from africa there are heaps of theories about how aids
came to be a human disease.A certain ape, monkey or gorilla(Im not sure but its one of our relatives) was found to be carrying hiv.and a group of people in africa eat these animals raw and drink their blood.I wonder how true that was.

I know what you mean. Some of the knuckle-dragging mouth-breathers I've seen confirms the theory of evolution and that some among us skipped a few stages.
