Your blog keeps coming up on the home page and I keep meaning to get over here and now I am!  Strange synchronicities happening to me today because I keep running into blogs with subjects that I'm writing about.  My blog tomorrow will be about something similar; voices with regard to writing.  In any case, only suggestion I can make is keep a pen and paper on your night stand.  Even in the dark, try to jot down key words.  Sometimes this helps me.  A pleasure to, 'meet' you!  --Joy!Mary

It's not always in a dream,
but sometimes when I have a story idea, it's told to me in a voice with a British accent.  Very odd.

That does sound frustrating!
A rose from Bo =^..^= and one from me!

No I have been lucky because before I started writing my novel the story
line just wouldn't let me sleep. Since I've been writing it down I sleep.

Jemmie211's story
Yes, I've had this happen to me. If, during your dream, you don't know what the story is about, the chances are you will be unable to recall it when awake.  However, otherwise, you must think about it immediately after awakening or you will lose it. Good luck, and visit me sometime.
