I can relate...I have a step daughter (second husband) and she is an important part of my life. I think we are lucky to receive the gift of children~

This is so sweet.
Children only care about who loves, cares for and protects them...that is "true" family.
I have never had the chance to experience this kind of situation, but I'm sure you must feel exactly the same about her, like a real child....it doesn't really matter that you didn't give birth to her.
