Hi Taps!
I'm not sure I'll be able to put a definite finger on it, my slump. I have been busy and maybe I will touch on some personal issues that have dampened my spirit. I usually write those out in ad nauseum and instead this time, I'm spending time just being off the computer and sitting with Jay. I've been cleaning house and by tonight my muscles are screaming at me. They have been worked OUT. I gave up chocolate for lent (and for my waistline, ever expanding) and I don't see any change from that. I've got to get the old metabolism going again, meaning not so much sedentary activity like blogging. So I thought I'd start a new journal in which I could at least let those who check on me how it's going.

Hi YP-
My ankle is still tender; I keep stepping down on it in the wrong way. And the voice therapist didn't return my call yet. She is employed by the VA and may be restricted in who she can take; I'd go privately, but I need the insurance coverage. I just got in the donut hole of Medicare drug coverage so I've got $3800 of out of pocket to deal with first. I am grateful to even have the prescriptions so like the disease, I will just deal with it. In a few months, I'll be a catastrophe again for a little while and in January it will start all over again! Thanks for checking out my new site. Even if it's a little post, I'll say something.

Glad we got some news of why you have become Blogallergic! Let that ankle heal...taking it easy is what Jay must have reiterated. I am also hoping he remains as calm as he looks, when he rusghes homw in concern and love to see how "good" the accident was which you call "nothing serious." When do your voice lessons begin...and are you really driving there alone? At least, Stephanie ought ot be in the car with you, okay?
