I appreciated this line especially;

"Prayer does not make God view life as we do, it helps us see the circumstances we face in our lives as God does."  This is an extremely good point of truth! Reading & meditating in prayer with the Living Word creates a peace, calm and a trust in us helping us to view our circumstances in life through the eyes of our creator.

I have been a construction bookkeeper for 20+ years and always in the company of some of the most rugged and the most highly-prideful and powerful men alive. The entrepeneuers and leaders in this industry are referred to as men's men; as I have learned to respect their strengths & fortitude and appreciate their extrememly hard work ethics, I've also watched them fall and crumble, not generally through the course of this competitive and demanding industry, but more so often because of their relationships, wives and families.  It is difficult for them to balance and juggle their priorities in this industry especially. The most successful in life have learned to play as hard as they work.  It is a balance they must obtain in order to survive.  They certainly provide for their families without doubt but most often their partners and families don't provide for them.  The families who learn to pray & play together are the ones who survive!  Men are the strongest when they receive the respect they have earned. 5-Star rating for provoking thought!
