Goosebumping post! Excellent!
Thank you for sharing this roof-praising event with us! I just listened to a great sermon this morning that really knocked me off my feet. It was in regards to offensive to the Lord if and when we attempt to achieve by our own power. It was by the authority and the power and by His Word that we are lifted and therefore, by His power we gain our strength and by his grace we accomplish. I don't think offensive is a good adjective, but because we are not trusting in faith and attempting by our own strength, we disregard our faith. It hit very close to home for me, because I have always been a hard worker and have put a lot of effort into my endeavors. Through all of this effort on my part, I have not accomplished much based upon my effort. Recently I have found that if my endeavors remain within God's will and I do my very best (without struggling & suffering), but by letting go and allowing God to be my strength, having faith and trusting in His authority and power, not by sight, but by faith, wow! Things are moving along at a phenomenal pace. Blessings to you!
