My you write so well!
I read Proc's blog on this issue, saw you'd written on the topic and here I am. I agree with a lot of what you say, but the spanking part. When I was a child I couldn't for the life of me figure out why when I'd eaten all the sugar out of the sugar bowl in the rhubard patch that I received a spanking. Sugar and spanking didn't compute in my brain. Yes, it was explained, but I just never, 'got' it. Still don't. How does the physical spanking teach? Is it that one is supposed to remember the sting and not want to receive such a thing again? Is that it?Honestly, I just don't, 'get' it. A very well-written piece. Thanks for the privilege to read you.

This is such a commonsense approach to the whole spanking issue.
It would be lovely if you lived in new zealand and had this article published.But this country is so PC about everything,Im surprised so many people are actually being allowed to say they are for spanking/smacking.
