Rame
Rame they are not human despite being in human bodies. They are a different spiritual substance.... that of predators and demons. Their choice of being atheist is because they cannot identify with the morals of any religion.

Was gone awhile so
slow on the response. You can check out my thoughts under the blog Faiths & Fiction.

Justi,
Thanks.  I imagine you are right but I'd really like to have some of their thoughts.  These are things I've wondered about for some time.  I know some people who are Atheist and who are agnostic and they are all very nice people. I feel uncomfortable asking them these questions, though, since they are friends I see often but we are not close.  Bloggers are writers and are more at ease writing their thoughts and I appreciate that.

RAME
Such a good post. I found it very thought provoking and some excellent points. I believe those who don't have God would hardly miss Him if they have not known the difference.

TAPS,

Thanks for reading my post.  I would really like answers from people who are Atheists or agnostics.  These are things I've wondered about for some time.

I will take a
"stab" at this myself. Give me a day or two to gather my thoughts.

I am not atheist, but pagan, and I don't view God as a being that can

be talked to, like a lot of people.

When I need it I find strength and comfort from within myself, or from friends.
I appreciate nature for what it is.
I can treat others well because I don't believe that any of us are truly seperate.  And even if we were, I'm naturally compassionate.  I don't think that has much to do with what one believes.

Just my two cents and a different view, if you wanted one.
