New Zealand is beautiful, especially the south island. Australia is such a big continent - the north is tropical, the middle has a lot of aridity in the outback areas and then the south is a cool climate (particularly Tasmania where I originally come from - which people compare to Ireland). If you want any more Australian photos just let me know.

Yeah LLM we all got the hats for free and the people who walked over the bridge had night got hats with little lights on them (like miners caps) .. daggy but cool!

My mother just got back from a three-week visit to Australia and New Zealand....she mentioned the bridge.....funny things strike first time visitors......she said that something that really struck her was that the working people in the city - they were in Melbourne and Sydney, but I think the comments were mainly about Sydney - were all so young and all seemed to wear black.....she's mentioned those two facts several times. She really enjoyed her visit, but thought most of Australia looked like a lot of Texas, and really liked the scenery in New Zealand best. She lost her camera on the trip, so I'm sending her your photos, if you don't mind.
