Something about moss
Isn't moss green the most beautiful shade of all? i also love the texture of moss, the mere mention of moss conjures up thoughts of lush flora and velevt coated rocks. beautiful

It's funny
How we can pass something every single day and not notice ut, yet through the eyes of a photgrapher it becomes something so very beautiful.

My dad worked in a museum that had a big diorama of what the floor
of the forest would look like if you were only an inch tall.  I was fascinated from the first time I saw it, and no doubt that still fuels my inclination to get close up and imagine the tiny stuff as big enough to see as the whole world!  Thanks for visting and commenting, Straightforward!

Like the way you capture and bring attention to something I'd have
otherwise taken for granted

I've always loved the lush green of mosses, Offy.
I guess that's why these tiny gardens are so enthralling to me!  This is the best time of year to see them, as winter rains make them grow and bloom.  In summer, they are dry and darkly yellowish, not nearly as lovely!
