Hi, Cee....
Yes, I agree.  Cee, did you know I have another blog, Mags Bag, and that is the one I usually post in?  Just for your information - I don't write much so there usually is only old "stuff" in the main blog.  SOmetimes I write in there though - when I've something to write about.

Hi Maggie Mae-
So glad to see you in these parts again.  I'm doing just great!  Yes, this isn't a new story but it does make you stop and appreciate the layers of helpers that help us at all levels.

YP-
Thank you, friend, for your comments and observations. I agree that special needs children not only pack our chutes for us, so that our fall to earth is softer, they ground us as to what is decent and human.  Tolerance for differences IS in short measure in America at the present time.  Hope you like your Faeirie wreath crowns. Play your shilaylee tomorrow, Neil. Peace and love,

Cee

p.s. same address as before and as always.

Cee.........

How are you, Sweetie?

I read this story, or one very similar, before.  It makes one think, doesn't it?

Sometimes, a sick spouse or a handicapped child, allows us to be more human
---even though there are options like abortion, divorce, abandonment, absconding. A totally slow or retarded child may seem to have no value, but they pack our parachutes that help us sail down to common humanity. And that is not so common in this country, especially if we help ordinary, non-military or lesser-known ethnic groups/members. Shalom, and thanks for your gift Carole. Hi to Jay; and let me know what address should I send my thank you card?

rich-
Thanks for your comment.  I would add it teaches us to appreciate those whom God puts in our path who are our watchquards and helpers in life, too!
