Perhaps good managers are as rare as good employees--
Hi, bandanafish! Welcome to my new blogs!
When my daughter became a manager, and even as an employee, she was astounded at the lack of work ethic in many of the other employees. One would do things like just wander off to lunch at McD's down the street without signing out or telling anyone. Another called in "I don't feel like working today" and another was selling expensive stuff to his buddies for special prices... If this is the pool that managers come out of, no wonder some of them are pretty wonky!

Hopefully your wonderful daughter had turned her frustration
into motivation. Btw, what's with managers these years? My sister had a wicked manager, too.
