Thanks for this brief but concise review.
One thing that the press is not covering in the Walter Reed fiasco, is what is REALLY at the root of this mess, and it isn't the management by the military and it isn't the generals who are getting replaced right and left. The Bush administration forced the military to "outsource" many of the jobs related to the administration of the VA and running places like Waltyer Reed. The military bid on the contract, but the administration turned them down and gave it to a private company, run by two ex officials at guess where????? HALLIBURTON!!!!!! Ring any bells????
