In the despair
I see love torn –
my heart beats not
In the despair of
my parted love.
If the love were easy
and my God faithful
I would be in no shape -
no love is cutting me,
So I deal with whatever
pain is coming as
a practical equation.
I distil unbearable pain
Into survival and survive.
My heart is empty.
