For people who have no scientific knowledge and those who are unable to think beyond physical perceptions, an unknown source which is all seeing and omnipotent is the primal cause for all natural occurrences. For these individuals what befalls their brethren can only be understood from an anthropomorphic view point and hence we have an avenging God or a benevolent God. So the point you have raised can not be even understood by 90% of humanity which is steeped in superstition or in religious hegemony.

Excellent, excellent post! There is not a word in your post with which I personally disagree (this, of course, does not make it right, and those who know me know that is not what I am saying)! I hope the extremists among our Christian group all read your post and increase their knowledge and understanding from your advanced wisdom!
Thank you so much! I enjoyed your post from your first word to your last one! (as well as your lone commentor's to date)

Xeno-x,
You are right. Good die along with the bad. Only God knows why we die when we die except in the case of murder or something making it obvious why a person dies. God gave us free will and we choose whether to murder someone or not. If we choose to do bad, God isn't going to take away our free will and step in.
