It is sad RAME, but it is understandable (clinically) as well. There are

more people than ever before.  We are the beneficiaries of the Information Age, where anything and everything is at our ear, eyes, and fingertips within seconds.  Add the two together and the high incidence of craziness, death and detruction isn't as bad as it sounds (although that is bad enough), but simply the effect of increased and prevalent information.
