Thank you for this insightful piece
Im a semi retired teacher who is more homemaker than teacher.I love the time Ive been able to give my four kids in the last ten years.Not only my two youngest,11 and 13 benefitted but the two older ones too.In fact I find kids never stop needing the consistency that mum is always there for us.Every school outing,or function,Im there and its such a pleasure when they come home and talk about their classmates and I know the kids.Theres no doubt about it passing on values to the next generation is a fulltime,exhausting but the most rewarding job of all.
