When the great sages wrote the vedas, the entire knowledge was assimilated through observation. Hence as an observer you are at the frame of mind to realize the Truth.

Thank you for your appreciation. May the observance of
yama dispel the
maya in your perceptions and lead you to greater depths. (The
yama / maya anagram is well oriented.)

Yes it is a practical challenge but one that is very much possible. If you run a marathon, there is a point at which you feel like giving up but if you keep going all the tiredness vanishes. So also in life, as St. Paul in his second letter to Timothy says "I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith"

Interesting posts from yourself and Bhaskar today on spiritual matters.
Although an outsider to these things, i am still an interested observer.

Another post in excellence. This one evokes such varied feelings that I could do four/five posts on it. However, tomorrow I propose do one on
Yama, meaning self-restraint, as also Death, and how the two are correlated. My heartiest congratulations. 6.30 evening to 7.30 in the morning, my computer is rarely functional these days. Let's see if I can post my today's.

How very true that if we’re centered, conscious, and in tune with our Spirit and with the Universe, that clarity will prevail. Although even in those bright, seemingly enlightened moments we can almost taste the goal or desire we wish to achieve, establishing a path or putting thought into action can often be a challenge. We are, without a doubt, our own worst enemy.

Like I said to Bhaskar, that wolf is a tough one to beat down at times.

I believe that taking those steps and being well balanced and disciplined is important for living a daily balanced life.....It seems simple enough in theory, but difficult to actually practice and live by.....yet, I know that I will be better off by doing this....it is still challenging. I can see why you say it relates to Bhaskar's post of the wolf.
