We were all thinking...
Perhaps Wendy's should keep this restaurant open as a sort of museum piece, much as McDonald's keeps its Des Plaines, IL store up as a museum piece (although that store does not operate as a restaurant and has a fence surrounding it, if memory serves correctly). It is of historical interest, even if it cannot "make a go of it" as a business concern. Yes, businesses do have a definite shelf life, which varies from business to business.

Interesting Post
Most things in business do have a limited shelf life. The wisdom comes from realizing this and knowing when to pull the trigger. The signature store goes down, but theopportunity exits to find a new signature store that can be marvelled at in the year 2050.
