Rachmaninoff's OMG Prelude
His Prelude in C# Minor became so popular an audience request piece that Rachmaninoff is said to have called it the "Oh, My God!" Prelude, with OMG providing lyrics to the three note theme. One is left to imagine the full lyrics going something like:
Oh, My God!
Not again...
Oh, My God!
They've asked me...
Oh, My God!
To play this...
Oh, My God!
I'm sorry
Oh, My God!
I'm sick of this piece
I wrote at nineteen...
You get the idea.
