The difference between knowledge / ignorance, and truth / falsehood is that the first is a state of being, like you say that someone is knowledgable or he is ignorant, the second is a tool or methodology. This is the reason that Jesus said 'I am the way, the truth and life'. Seeking the ultimate reality involves walking the well laid path (teachings and principles), being truthful (focused on higher realities and not distracted by sensory pleasures) in every step and this mode of passage (life) leads us to our true destination. Thank you.

The sayings are from "The Gospel of Sri Ramakrishna vol. 1 (ISBN 8171201091) and vol. 2 (ISBN 8171203673)". I know the five volumes of Kathamrita are available in Bengali. Please let me know if they are available in English from an Indian source. Thank you for your appreciation.

Deepananda, these words are indeed true and relevant today.
I'm not quite sure of the difference between knowledge / ignorance, and truth / falsehood, but that its probably due to the translation. Perhaps it is closer to experience / innocence, and tuth / falsehood?

What soul-touching and depth these simple-worded messages carry in their teachings! Are these from Kathamrita, the words of nectar? Thank you and be blessed for bringing this to us.
