Taxguy, Moon has hogged a lot of space. Same are mine hogging bigger space

A little boy & taxation in Australia

A little boy wanted $50 very badly and prayed for
                                 weeks, but nothing happened.

Finally he decided to write God a letter requesting
                                 the $50.

When the postal authorities received the letter
addressed to God, AUSTRALIA, they decided to forward it to
the Prime Minister of the AUSTRALIA as a joke.

The Prime Minister was so amused, that he instructed
his secretary to send the little boy $20.

The Prime Minister thought this would appear to be a
lot of money ($50) to a little boy, and he did not
                                 want to spoil the kid.

The little boy was delighted with $20, and decided
to write a thank you note to God, which read:

"Dear God: Thank you very much for sending the money.
However, I noticed that you sent it through the Prime
Minister Office (Canberra) in ACT, and those
                                  Donkeys deducted $30 in taxes ... "

Excellent, Taxguy. I've pursued "God" for more decades than I care to admit. I think that the Eastern "religions" declare generally that every path, if rightly followed, is a path to "God"; i.e., peace, wisdom, bliss. It seems that you are the poster child for taxes as the path to enlighentenment. Well done! MoonSpirit

My husband had to file for the past 5 years as he's been in Ireland
all that time.  It's a nightmare, but he got it done eventually.

TaxFreind, sounds likepoetic justice in America. When we had no income tax,

we fough the Revolution with the cry, "No taxation without representation." Tell your clients to think of it vice versa, "No representation--anywhere--without taxation" and the 16th Amendament of the Progressive Era under Woodrow Wilson, a Princeton Professor and our enlightened President, in c.1916
