Geoge's war and how it's being spun.
When this war on terrorism was begun, there was an estimated Al Quieda (sp?) force estimated to number about 2500. They existed because of religious fervor and legitimate grievances about our arrogant heavy-handed muscleing of anyone who has the nerve to say "NO!" to us. HOW DARE THEY? We are the baddest of the BAD-ASSES, we're not above using NUCLEAR warfare! (Know anyone else that has?) No gang or confederation of gangs are a more dangerous band of thugs than us. That's how we like it. If you're not the lead dog your view never changes. Let everyone ELSE watch OUR ass!
Now try to count the number of terrorists that are willing to die to put an end to our arrogance and world domination, a newer version of "Manifest Destiny!" There are now 100s of thousands, maybe millions of zealots that are dedicated to our destruction,and it is because of US! Somehow, most of OUR oil got put under their sand! We never intend to leave Iraq and never did. We need and intend to have a permanent military base of operations in the middle east. Saudi Arabia is a friend to us only as long as it is to their advantage. If Israel becomes a glowing radioactive hole in the ground, are we going to play nice with Iran? Don't be ridiculous!
