Yes
I do agree. I've seen it in action with very young children. If they are angry, getting ready to throw a tantrum, think quick!, do or say any goofy thing, and almost always their anger dissolves into laughter. Works much better than scolding or punishment. I wish more adults would try it, not only with kids but amongst themselves too. I am enjoying your poems. Very warm and uplifting.
