Once again, an excellent post!  Extremely well-done and balanced!  The world, indeed, is getting better.  The world is not "going to hell in a handbasket!"  And even we Christians are improving ourselves!

faith

is an exponential increase. But what we know as "learning"; is a mirror of faith. An increase of knowledge, or "learning", is an increase in power. But an increase in faith is an increase in ultimate power.

Faith is not based in "learned" knowledge.

And that statement defies human ego. Human ego is at enmity with God.

You have a very positive attitude
and pointed out to me some things that are very true.  I suppose, although I am very unhappy with the current president, things are not as bad as they seem.  Things could be worse.  And, things will eventually get better.  Take care
