Solowriter, Well since we cannot undo what has been done since the
beginning of time and must deal with the aftermath of man's total disregard for animal life (in which I agree with you), should we let the animals spend their lives in shelters instead of taking them into our homes and giving them all the love they so deserve while receiving nothing less than unconditional love in return. Are they also animal abusers in your opinion. Of course I am against capturing animals for zoos and the circus, etc. but I am talking about domestice pets...do you put these pet owners in the same category? That's all I am asking.
Oh, and I really don't appreciate being called "thoughtless" just because I read your post, commented and asked a question. I'd much rather be around animals than people anyday and you have reinforced my reason why. This will be my last visit to you!

Your question is thoughtless. The act of isolating any creature from it's own natural family is obvious and blatant abuse.

Good post, SoloWriter. And your intentions are good. But the
unthinking callousness of the majority will probably prevail for a longer time than we would want. Still, information is the key to enlightenment...
