Truly feeling the Source can wash away our burdens and reveal the joy that lies ahead. A wonderful and lovely poem.

I know I feel healthier-each time I stop smoking-but the past has proven-I
always 'give in'-even after heart ops.etc.I put mine down to the baby stage-repulsion for the teat/bottle and the times involved then! Then-growing up-it was 'comfort blankets'/thumb sucking--now I have worked it all back to the 'baby in need'!(It may not be the same for you I know). Good luck-Chris.

Moving couple of poems, Jo.
Today my challenge is not to buy any cigarettes or alcohol, perhaps other forms of addiction to yours. It's hard isn't it. The thing that's so hard to explain is why, when we feel so much better without these things, we still can't resist them. I suppose it's like saying why do we prefer to drive instead of walking, when it makes us fat and unhealthy. We just like doing it, it gives us immediate and easy pleasure, at the expense of more difficult but more substantial pleasure through achievement and hard work.
