That reminds me of the person that feels it's never quite good enough.  My husband can be that way.

Very good quote.   It is so easy to be dissatisfied with what we are and what we have and that makes for much unhappiness.

Glad you enjoyed the mind puzzles. I'm sure you were up to them!  Those bags of various salad greens are handy but that was how the e-coli was spread a few months back, too.  Interesting map of MA.  I just talked to my sister (in Boston) for an hour today!  Hmm, there has to be a reason for this connection!??  Peace and love, neil.

Thanks for coming back!  I left you a longer comment at your site so I won't repeat it all here!  I like your thinking!

Greetings Lady Cee --I have some history thoughts of Early Massachusetts

today. I anjoyed your quiz and brain teasers. One of those jumped out at me...veggie, although I have seen it (lettuce) prepared in packages ready for sale from the Giant & Safeway refrigerators.

I have my desk around my computer littered with inspirational quotes, cut out and taped up, one after another. I like it when powerful thoughts are expressed so cleverly!

Those are wise words,
Julia posted one not long ago; Did you ever stop to think, your opinion of yourself is just that; your opinion and not the view of you from the opinion of others....something like that, I'll go back to reread it, but it really made me stop and think.  I know I've set extremely high standards for myself, but have no expectations from others.  Oh by the way, I really enjoyed your comment regarding the blackbirds!  It gave me my LOL for the day.  Thank you.

Hi Bhaskar-
Yes, I believe your quote and that it is indeed authentic! Have you ever heard of the "Dog Whisperer?"  My husband is having me use a technique similar to some others to snap him back into the present or the now when he starts down the "woe is me" dialogue path. It worked this morning! Trying to help him NOT to implode, similar to your quotation!

Lady Cee
Very correct, and "Each in itself, leads to a disaster worse than if they were to explode in unison". And how did you like that quote? That was entirely mine. Believe it?

Which horrid temptation are you referring to?  The "Wise Words" or the quadruple tambourines (or whatever they are) being balanced by the dancer below.  This is quite a magnificent photo.  It's a  man, isn't it?  Or a woman who needs to wax her upper lip!?  Cheers, Neil!!
