I have a recipe called " Jhal frezie"
Take half Kg beef cut into small size like that of toffees and cut half Kg Potatoe the same size . Fry the Beef pieces in the frying pan with Mustard oil added with brown fried onions and then fry the potatoes of toffee size separate in golden brown .Now add the potatoes with the beef already fried and kept separate .You can also put in some sliced ginger pieces with full red chillies when cooking the meat and the potatoes together .Cook the meat well till it is soft before adding the potatoes . This stuff is very famous here amongst the Anglo-Indians .
