Great Story!!
I'll have to try this with my new puppy who wakes me up at 5:45 every morning to stay up for the day!  I'll do a happy dance when she wakes up and bites me on the chin and see if I can't change my attitude about being up before the birds.  :)

How radical
Changing the world around you, instead of just disliking it.  Careful, this might catch on and we'd end up with a better place to be and nicer people to be around.  Not sure if I can put up with that.

LMAO  Do you look at the cats and point toward the train when you turn into "Tattoo?"  Do you jump up and down???  You're crazy, but I love ya.  The Law of Attraction can be a beautiful thing.

Quirky
That is cool, and that is exactly how it works. I've done the same thing around here, and I have had great success. On other things, I think I should try it. lol.

Very very cool!
It is amazing how an attitude change can make a difference. We used to get angry with our little daughter always asking for a bottle and it seemed she was drinking too much milk. We then decided that when she asked we would respond with a smile stating "Of course you do, honey." It seems as if she requests the bottle less and less since the attitude change.

No, I don't think I can do that! I'll stick with my bad "Tattoo" impression. LOL.

Julia,
This is a great example of perception and fun to read! I had almost the same experience when we bought a home with nothing but a green-belt between us and I-5.  I adored my yard and spent a lot of time either working in my veggie garden or sitting on my porch swing in the evenings. The constant rush of traffic became the ocean waves!  It was so easy to imagine the waves crashing on the shore and the tide going in and out!  I also lived next to a train station early on.  I had a fantasy of the train pulling in to bring me my one true love....I even wrote a song about it! lol.....the not so funny part was that within a year (age 21), I met my first husband.  He was an Engineer for Burlington-Northern Railroad! Eeeeeks. (Be careful what you wish for)!

rcky--

LOL to becoming "one" with the crickets.

As far as what you said about your marketing, it's true--if we had a tape of an entire days worth of our thoughts, I am sure we'd be amazed at how often negative ones creep in. I hope my suggestion helps. (well, positive affirmations certainly never hurt anyone! LOL).

Yes, I would love to have a copy of the Secret!

Oh and Julia as for the train noise..I had a similar problem when I lived
in the boonies of Fla. There was nothing around for miles and at night all you could hear were the incessant sound of the crickets. People that spent some time at my home asked me how I could put up with all the noise. I asked what noise...that is when I knew I became "one with the crickets!" I no longer heard them. LOL

I live close to Park Circus station and have gone used to the sound of a
passing train barring sometime when I get irritated . Now I shall apply your formula to avoid the tension .

Good Morning Julia.....that is a wonderful story and lesson...one that I

need to practice. Thanks for commenting on my research post and you are absolutely right about what I said about marketing. I seem to sabotage myself when I'm conscious. When I read that this morning I decided to be aware of the energy surrounding my marketing and began my day with some positive affirmations. And thanks...I needed that! LOL Oh and if you want that DVD..."The Secret" and you don't mind giving me your address...I'll mail you a copy! Let me know! It'll be my Valentine's gift to you!
