Seeee!!  There are sooooo many SURE indicators that global warming is indeed occuring!  And, you've presented yet another. . . , right before our eyes!  I guess in a couple of years, the final piece of underwear on the line (you've presented) will look like a drafting dot pasty thingy!!

Not esoterica, more like erotica, the burlesque revival? Dita is Marylin

Manson's newly divorced wife.  Don't let that give you the wrong mental image, her style is classic 40's/50's, very Rita Hayworth-esque.

The outfits she wears (or doesn't wear) are classics, but with much more coverage than modern examples.  Corsetry, stockings etc...  Her act is much more suggestive than display.

I know way too much about this, but she'd be my style icon (fully clothed version!) if I had one.

Wiley,
Mine???  I'm trying to picture myself in that 18th century model...well, maybe if I am Mother Abigail, as per Whinge's suggestion, it might work...

Well, Naut, let's stick to the classics, something along the lines of
Dita Von Teese's kit would probably be robbed off a clothes line, let's call it classiness in the face of imminent destruction by bad taste, slavering men and warm weather.
