It surely is true what you said about a well-constructed mask.   I was missing seeing you around and then before you got back I was off on my own little trip.  Thanks for visiting my post because it reminded me that I had not read you for a while.  Since I got back I've had a bit of trouble getting back into the groove of reading and commenting.  This is a great post.  Those are the kinds of things that I look for when traveling too, along with the wonders and the beauty.  The reality of poverty, hunger,  and need keeps one balanced as to the really important things in life.
