Thanks for the reference to Yogasutra. May I say that the attainment of Divine wisdom is not in aversion to material or temporal entities but in deep understanding of their limitations and intended role of Maya. There is a subtle difference between these two dispositions.

Yes, you are very correct in saying that it was not fueled by not only Hitler but by a host of others with similar aversion. The essence of the post is, at whatever scale; individualy or collectively, identifying the nature or character of aversion as another form of attachment. Thanks for the reference to Mein Kampf.

Enjoyed this write a lot. How beautifully it is dicussed in that short aphorism of Patanjali - the five kleshas being Avidya, Asmita, Raaga, Dvesha, Abhinivesha. Aversion has also ben the cause of so many being liberated, because in their total hatred they were constantly remembering the lord.

Deepananda - The most compelling thing about Hitler is
that he was allowed to come to power at all.   In his book Mein Kampf, Hitler presented to the world his insane views, and yet he still came to power.   Mein Kampf denies the world an excuse of ignorance!    There had to be many others with his same beliefs or his power never could have been sustained.
