I like the detail -- the hop pickers and their lingo.
But I'd like to see more scenes between narrative - some dialog or action. But that's an eensy weensy suggestion, no big thing. :)

Again, I just love the way you write! It's so smooth and the words always play out a brilliant picture. Even the tone alone is enjoyable (not to forget that charming Irish lilt!). Surely, you must have been a Gaelic bard in your past life!!
