I just happened to see Cee's comment. What a coincident "isness", that she says about being on common grounds.

I admire your willingness to coalesce with those whose ideas are not familiar with your own. I read a marquis yesterday that said, "A selfish Christian is a contradiction."

It would certainly go a long way towards healing our relationships.

Yes. If we are accepting enough of ourselves, we can gain a measure of empathy with others.

Exactly. I think that is the whole point of individuality. We must see that through our opinions, we can never actually unify with anything or anyone.

Well said. I find the people I have the most trouble with have the most to teach me about myself.

This is a post. I disagree that there are no absolutes - good or bad! But then that is my perspective. Be blessed.

"There is no right or wrong it it. It merely is." Would be that we could all look at our neighbors in such a way!

I agree, no one but we ourselves can know our own reality.

PostSmile! Yes, it is through our own uniqueness that we should allow ourselves and others the freedom to be. Wonderful post and thought, as usual.

It is very tiresome to be with someone who consistently wants to prove that they are right

You talk about the "isness" of life and so does Bhaskar.  No right or wrong - only what "is." I agree!

avant--
your posts have been quite philosophical of late. I think it's important to always remember that we each see the world through our own unique filter, influenced by all the things we've seen before or that have ever happened to us. No one sees the same thing, and yet there are universal things like love that bind us together as one.

it will depend on which perspective it is looked from.

Avant, sometimes it difficult NOT to judge someone or a situation that
appears negative. I have to keep telling myself that things are unfolding just as they should. At times our greatest adversary promotes the greatest changes in ourselves.
