For those interested in Prosper
You can read through some back posts of my Millionaire Blog where many of these questions are answered.  It is an excellent way for people to help people and to take banks out of the equation.

Passion
I did miss this story.  Once I'm done reading I'll have to visit the website.  My first thoughts based on what you provided is what happens if these bidders back out at the last minute.  Thanks for posting this.  I don't watch a whole lot of t.v. so I miss alot of innovative stuff.

Corbin...No --they check everything out and tell you the person's

Credit rating. It seems very safe. Many ordinary people like you and I are "loaning" money to other individuals because the return on your investment is much better than traditional investing.

You can bid on someone's loan and "invest" for as little as $100.
