Feel this way. I hope you won't shut the door completely to "men" or a relationship. I know they can be a pain in the ass but if you found the right one, he could be a blessing and a wonderful asset to your life.
We all need a snuggler on those cold nights. Can yu send me any other info about the guy? Does he have a dating profile somewhere? If so, send me the link to it.
I will paste this comment into your comments since I know you only have a few minutes to blog each day.

Yeah, I just clarified the camera costs on my blog; the figure was $65 USD... But doesn't it seem kinda redundant to answer you on MY side, then again here on YOUR side? LOL.

Decshak...The area where you live is definately a big factor
IN getting good pay. Here in North Dallas, you can get around $14 to 16 per hour if you know Quickbooks. The temp agencies in this neighborhood pay about $11 or 12 per hour for general office work.
I'd much rather work a disaster though.

lol, my crime?... ummm, feeding my internet habit with a computer job? haha... i saw the latest entry for the photoshop blog, not bad!... gives me reason to share more of my photoshop remixes :)... as for canons, it's not particularly cheap, but you're right, compared to the Canon 5D, the 350D is a stroll through the park, lol... thanx for the comment!
so what's the comment etiquette? reply to a comment on your own blog? or on the commenter's blog?... that's one issue that LJ solves beautifully: a comment-upon-comment tree that can go on indefinitely!

Passion, here is a joke on my wife shooting us both..Substitute F for B
Could have been worse! (Read Bhaskar for Frank)
Frank always looked on the bright side. He would constantly irritate his friends with his eternal optimism. No matter how horrible the circumstance, he would always reply, "It could have been worse." To cure him of his annoying habit, his friends decided to invent a situation so completely bad, so terrible, that even Frank could find no hope in it.
On the golf course one day, one of them said, "Frank, did you hear about Tom? He came home last night, found his wife in bed with another man, shot them both and then turned the gun on himself!"
"That’s awful," said Frank, "But it could have been worse."
"How in the hell," asked his bewildered friend, "Could it have been worse?"
"Well," replied Frank, "If it happened the night before, I’d be dead now!"
SO YOU CAN SEE THAT I CAN ALWAYS SEE THE BRIGHTER SIDE OF ANY OF MY PASSIONS.

We had a huge tent city in New Orleans....Algiers. The govt hired all those famous chefs from the French Quarter to cook for us.

I'm definitely qualified! I'm sure we would have a blast and get a lot of work done. It would be great to contribute in such ways.
I know what you mean about the hotels when available. I would get deployed to wildland forest fires and the army would set up tent cities for us. Like I said I've got a lot of stories that I hope to share some time. Never got frisked by the National Guard though! But it is on my list of things to do! LoL

Mysteria...if we get a good spring disaster...
Which according the the Climatologists, we should -- (el nino is causing huge snowfalls and lots of rain...much colder temps...severe tornadoes)
You should come out to wherever I'm deployed to and spend a few days. You could share my hotel room (if I have one! LOL) and we could work together inspecting damaged houses.
I really, truly believe you'd enjoy the work. It would be sort of like a vacation, only without the FUN!!!

I would love to hear your stories Mysteria...
That's one thing I miss about being deployed...so many rare and unusual things happen to you. Today, in class, I told the other inspectors that I really missed being frisked by the National Guard....
Everyone laughed as we recalled old disasters we'd worked. We were also comparing injuries we had recieved in past disasters...isn't that funny?
I DO hope you get to go back, Mysteria...I know how much I've missed not getting to work for so long. I may still get to go out to Florida and work those tornadoes that hit last week.

I'd love to find a company that would train me for free. Of course the FEMA classes are free but my Quickbooks class was not.
I sure do hope you get well enough to go back to work. I actually LOVE working-- It gives your life structure. I do so much better when I'm working regularly. I think anyone does.
MY FEMA job is mostly men and they do favor men when it comes to deployment. But I like to think I can work circles around any of those guys! I bet you can too!

Hi Passsh...Class can be so dull. I usually sit in the front cause i am
easily distracted. Before i got sick i worked for almost a twenty years for the State of Cal. Dept. of Transportation. It was a great job, male dominated, but i think i fit in pretty good. I had to go to many many classes from first responder courses for HAZMAT situations to Excel computer classes. They spend SO much money on training! Sheesh!
Now I'm on disability and claim to be a starving artist. One day I hope to be well enough to go back...they are saving a spot for me...
Just sharing some life stuff w/ my sissy...
Hope you are well...
