You have hit on something here that is worth giving its due; love IS a powerful intoxicant. There is a brain chemical produced that makes love harder than any other known addiction to "get over." Just thinking of the person can intensify the affect of the chemical. In this case, her fame has made her folly infamous to the world. We hold our heroes to higher standards and it hurts so when they fall to earth like ordinary humans. In this case, it was 'Houston, we have a problem.'
