I didn't get to know you very well...
But you're making a good, sound decision not to waste your time around here. I wish you good fortune at your writing.

AND THANK YOU TOO MARY
This is such a great loss here. I know we shared some different beliefs, but those that we did brought me much comfort many times.  Thankyou.

It's not totally clear whether your account's still open or not. If you've definitely gone, then good luck with all your stuff outside of Blogit.

Mary, Bhaskar & blogit friends...USA is great for also teaching dispassion
I feel the way Bhaskar describes it. In fact, I was surprised when I heard through Carole (Ceemarie53) that FAHOLO leaves Blogit tonight. My own nonprofit work and some teaching (PT) jobs claim a lot of my time and energy. Often I felt like leaving too. In fact I did for over a year. But BLOGIT family members always return, if only for a visit now and then. This is what convinces me that Mary is only saying au revoir. Till we meet again, GODSPEED. Much love and prayers, Neil

Faholo

I do not know why, why this is my fate? Always.....always, someone I love has to go, go away forever. Why? God, even that great God has never been able to answer! I am saddened beyond sadness itself. There are none to hear. Not even God Himself.

Reminds me of the Shakesperean lines, of the riddle of life and death compressed into a last agonized cry:

'Why should a dog, a horse, a rat, have life

And thou no breath at all? thou'lt come no more

                                  Never, never, never, never, never!

With this quintesence of negation rattling in his heart, Lear dies.

Something in me also dies when someone leaves. But, will I not myself leave one day? So, what's there to make so much, so much fuss of it? Wish you well, ma'am.

Faholo -

While I am sad to see you leave, I do wish you luck in your writing endeavors. Your presence here has lifted many of us, and I thank you for that!

faholo,
I hate to see you go -- there goes a bright ray of sunshine I always get from your blogs or comments but I understand more clearly now...  Whatever challenge you may encounter on the road ahead, just do it anyway. Many blessings as you continue your freelance writing and I hope you pick up a copy of my future coffee table book, about 50 pages with a beautiful front cover and read it by a warm, cozy fireplace!  Namasthe, dear lady!
