I don't think I'll ever look at the potatoes I'm peeling and dicing
the same way ever again.  And, those rain showers and thunderclaps in the produce department get on my nerves, too.  Enjoyed your story!

What a wonderfully written story!  And your take on vegetables – delightful! And, oh yes... what should we call a grocery store now that it stocks everything from vitamins to batteries to gizmos?

I knew it...I knew those girls were going to get into trouble when you let them run loose in the store..Now Muser can you just imagine the chaos they could create in a Super-K or a Super Wal-Mart..Oh good Lord...

I came, I saw, I liked...I'll be looking for the Magnolias from now on! And I do like my veggies, if not necessarily happy, at least kind of perky - even broccoli, or I should say especially broccoli...

Hey Broc...Broc...did you hear that? TAP's gonna freeze us first, and then
she's gonna smother us in milk and cheese sauce...and then she's gonna eat us. HELLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLP!! o.k., enough silliness for today...vegetables do not smile, dance, talk, sing, or...or...am I in... denial ?!                                                              ,,

I'm so glad the Magnolia's are with you again.  This post reminds me that I need to do something with the things in my vegetable bin of the fridge before I take off tomorrow.  You know how things out of sight get forgotten.  Also I have a big bowl of steamed broccoli that's too much for me to finish up today and Son #1 (who is not going, will not under, any circumstances, touch.  I think he was impressed by Ex-President, George Bush, Sr. when he declared, "There is to be NO broccoli in the White House!)   I guess I could freeze it and make broccoli soup out of it when I get back home.
