MarieClaire.
Welcome back, amiga! Dos besos y un abrazo para ti!
So glad that you enjoyed your trip. Family reunions after a long absence are very happy, sad and poignant, aren't they? As I found on our recent visit to England to see my younger sister, who is dying of cancer.
I'm sure you appreciate that any comment that I offer on your work is invariably a constructive and impartial one, offered in a spirit of amity. I am in any case only an amateur poet, and anything that I say is inevitably subjective.
Your prolificity amazes me, and I do admire it very much, but it is so easy to fire off work without pausing for a little while to rethink it, isn't it? I've many time thought " Oh dear, I shouldn't have sent that piece! I should have sat on if for a while, and did this with it!"
I have a feeling in my bones that you'll go far, MarieClaire. And then I'll be able to boast, " MarieClaire? Why yes, I knew her well, and we were great friends back in our Blogit days!"
be well, amiga.

how delightful!
Just passing to say thanks for the very kind and heartful comments (hugs included and much appreciated), that you left on my blog a few weeks ago, on the occasion of my son's anniversary.
Catching up on news quickly, I had a wonderful three week trip to the South Island of New Zealand with superb company all the way through, different people turned up out of the blue. I saw a lot, talked a lot, laughed a lot, and cried little. Hence, my scare presence at blogit. I have written lots of poems though, but for some reasons, I am reluctant to share them... may be I will, too many to choose from...
Happy New Year to you Ariel. I have appreciated your kindness and honesty, and in hindsight, realized that you were often quite right. I am more careful with editing my poems now, and it is a good thing, although punctuation is still not my forte...
