The power of the body politic, blogflogger, is asserting itself. We saw a
good demonstration of the frustration with the Bush administration and it's rubberstamp Congress in the mid-terms. A lot of those guys got the boot, and rightfully so. And you're right. People wanted change, so now is not the time to become dormant again, to remain passive. Get out there and say something. Hell, since anybody who can read this is a blogger, getting out there can be as simple as an electronic petition, an e-mail to your Congressperson, a comment on a Congressional blog or a candidate's website. The internet has broadened the scope of our democracy and can and will be a great political tool. Herein lies an arena where you can practice all your first amendment rights, be heard without physical constraints.
You just have to do it, people.
