job versus vocation

You can be grateful and still search for your vocation
Vocation comes from the Latin, literally meaning "calling". That is, it is what you are called by God to do, your destiny, your purpose. Though it may not necessarily make you happy, it will make you fulfilled to do that work.
The purpose of these stopgap jobs is to pay the bills while you search for and pursue your vocation.

We have to be thankful for the jobs that we have because there are people all around the world with no income.
