Success…….I find that group meetings of this nature can be very interesting
even if they are strongly slated in favor of a particular ideology or denomination, so long as they permit discussion time. It is amazing what things people come up with. Of course, if you get too radical, they might throw you out on your heels. LOL

lately? It has been on TV far too many times in the past couple of weeks in my area.

It was the "be excellent to each other" line that gave it away.

My wife has decided not to go
Not really because of those reasons.  I'll explain more tomorrow.

I share your wife's concerns, Success
If this person bills him- or herself as a Christian life coach, there is every possibility that it could actually be a missionary thing, rather than an attempt to help people lead better lives. If it isn't a missionary thing, there is also the possibility that this Christian life coach may be compromising his or her values for the sake of trying to "smooth things over" or make things peaceful so everyone gets along. Neither one is really all that great if he or she claims to be a Christian, IMHO.
