I agree, Rachel...
the first question out of anyone's mouth is 'have you taken your meds?' I can't even get angry, as the assumption is any negative emotion is cause by me not taking my tablets. Just because we're medicated doesn't mean we're not people! It sounds like you did everything exactly right - your mom probably just worries about you and how your coping, but finds it hard to mention without it sounding tactless.

Hello, RachelAnna
to live in harmony, there has to be 'give and take' and to 'forgive and forget'. Give it a try.

Thanks Julia and FactorFiction!
I appreciate your comments!  :)  Sometimes things that seem like they are positive attributes aren't so positive when they continually affect you negatively because of the people around you.

rachel--

that was another rude question!

BTW, I don't think not giving in to anger, and being able to forgive is a character flaw in the least!

lol Ariel!
It seems like I should be able to tell my mother that her grandchild fell, doesn't it?  No, usually I don't slip up like this.  It's a character flaw, I usually forget the bad things about people and allow myself to open up.  Oops!

Oh, dear! haven't you yet learned to " Tell 'em only what they need to know!"?
