Deepananda…….It is uncanny to think about the concept
of “true repentance” in relation to the “forgiveness of sins” because, if the repentance is authentic, then past sins are automatically converted into a valuable learning experience and hence no longer constitute sin. Conversely, if the repentance is inauthentic, the sins remain.
