I don't mean to sound arrogant, but I can't think of anything I'm really afraid of.  Or maybe I should say I can't think of anything I wouldn't be afraid to do so long as what I was doing was legal.  Does this just emphasize the FREAK in me?

Yes that is why I have bungee jumped and jumped out of airplanes...because of my fear of heights....but it didn't work for me, I still fear heights...

These words are very wise. It is true that by running away from something, we give the acknowledgment that it is there. In fact, it isn't. That's the paradox and the mystery of it.

Ody--
I have tried to adopt that as a little mantra, to remind myself that this is what I need to do. Human nature is to refute I think.

yes. The "little" fears do not carry the same weight. It is in embracing our worst fears where the most truth about ourselves will emerge.

Yes, resolve, not refute!

I love this one.  Going to the place we fear the most if often the one thing we avoid at all cost.  This is sooooooooo good.

All my life I've been scared of the dark, so when I go into the darkness I turn myself into the hunter.

Scare a hell of a lot of family and friends in play too, 'cos I'm so stealthy.
